Is this gambling?
No. KickoffPools never collects, holds, or pays out money, and there are no prizes — winners win bragging rights. What your group does outside the site is your group's business and your responsibility; the site only keeps score.
Do my friends need accounts?
No. Players join from your link with just a display name. Only the commissioner uses an email — that's how you get your manage link back if you lose it.
How do squares winners work?
At lock, the digits 0–9 are shuffled across the rows and columns. At the end of each quarter, the last digit of each team's score points to one square — that's the winner. Full rules.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Creating and joining pools is completely free, and there are no ads. Down the road, commissioners may get optional cosmetic upgrades like custom board images — the games themselves stay free.
