Side games for fantasy leagues
Your league already argues all week. Give them more to argue about.

What do fantasy leagues run alongside the league?
A season-long side competition the whole league plays in five minutes a week. The classics are survivor (one pick a week, no team twice, last manager standing) and confidence pick'em (rank every game 1–16 by how sure you are — correct picks score their rank). Both run themselves on KickoffPools: picks lock at kickoff, standings update live, and nobody has to be the spreadsheet person.
Why survivor fits a fantasy league
It punishes exactly the overconfidence fantasy managers are famous for. Burning a top team in week 3 to survive a bad slate, then losing them for the week you actually need them, is the decision that fuels a month of group-chat discourse. Eliminations are automatic and public — the pool page shows who's alive, who's out, and which team ended them.
Confidence pick'em for the stat-heads
Straight-up pick'em is friendly; confidence mode is for leagues that treat Sunday like a math exam. Ranking all sixteen games forces real opinions — your 16 on a road underdog is a statement the whole league can see after kickoff. Weekly and season standings keep both the hot streak and the long game interesting.
How does it work with our league chat?
One link does everything. Drop it in the league's group chat or Discord; managers join with the same name they use in the league — no app, no accounts. Every pool page has a share button that renders the current standings as an image, made to be screenshotted into the chat after a chaotic week.
What does it cost?
Nothing — free to create and join, no ads. KickoffPools never touches money: no entry fees, no pots, no payouts. The side game is for pride, which in most leagues is worth more anyway.
