How does margin survivor work?

Each week you pick one team, and your score is how much that team wins by. Win by 14 and you bank +14; lose by 3 and you take −3; a tie is 0. Like survivor, you can't use a team twice all season — but nobody gets knocked out. The highest season total wins.

What happens if I forget to pick?

You're charged the week's worst result — minus the biggest winning margin of any game that week. That way skipping a scary week never helps, and the pool stays fair for everyone who picked.

When do picks lock, and who can see them?

Your pick locks when its game kicks off, and nobody else sees it until then. Once the game starts you can't swap off it.

Is the margin a point spread?

No. There are no lines or spreads anywhere — the margin is simply the real final score difference of the team you picked.

What's the strategy?

It's a season-long budget. The teams most likely to win big are also the ones you can only use once, so the question every week is whether this is the blowout worth spending them on — or whether a quieter favorite gets the job done.

How do you join?

Open the pool link, type your name, and make your first pick. No app, no account.

What do winners get?

Bragging rights. KickoffPools never collects, holds, or pays out money and never awards prizes.
