Pick'em, explained

Pick winners. Count points. Argue about it all season.

How does a pick'em pool work?

Every week, each player picks the winner of every game — straight up, no point spreads, no odds. A correct pick is worth one point. Most points in a week wins the week; most points across the season wins the season (and, on KickoffPools, a crown next to their name).

When do picks lock?

Each game's pick locks at its kickoff. Until then, you can change your mind as many times as you want from your private picks link. Miss a game? You just score zero on that one — the rest of your week still counts.

How does the tiebreaker work?

Players also guess the total points scored in the week's last game. If two players tie on correct picks, the closest guess wins the week. Simple, decisive, and it keeps the late game interesting even in a blowout.

How do you join a pick'em pool?

Open the pool link your commissioner shared, type your name, and you're in. Add your email if you want your picks link sent to you — otherwise just bookmark it. No app, no account, no password.

What do winners get?

Bragging rights, a crown on the leaderboard, and a season of "told you so." KickoffPools never collects, holds, or pays out money and never awards prizes — it keeps score, that's it.
